Madhyam2 is a digital, reprogrammable general-purpose Eurorack module geared towards audio generation. It is a 4HP Eurorack 'hat'/expansion for the SeeedStudio XIAO RP2350, making it the perfect choice for all kinds of audio generation duties in any rack; whether you just want a compact sound source of your choice, or are a maker looking to rapidly prototype your audio firmware ideas into a real module, with all the ease of programming that the RP2350 platform allows.

This module can be bought either without any firmware or pre-flashed with one of many programs available. 

Madhyam2 provides 4x 3.5mm mono jacks connected to the I/O pins of the XIAO RP2350. There are 2x inputs available for gate/trigger signals, an input for Control Voltage signals, and a single output. As the XIAO RP2350 only has three AD inputs, the CV input is shared with POT3.
The voltage range for the input patch points is 0-5V only. The output voltage is an AC output of Vpp = 10V. This module does not use a DAC, instead using PWM for audio output; harmonics derived from the PWM in the output audio are smoothed with an RC low-pass filter. To cover a wide range of uses, the module includes a jumper on the back to choose between higher or lower cutoff frequency for the internal RC LP filter.
Alongside these, the module also includes 3x high-quality potentiometers, 1x push-button switch, and an LED indicator. And a blank panel area for you to give your module a unique name!
