Fade4 Performance MIDI & CV Controller

The Fade4 MIDI and CV controller is a highly tactile, locally manufactured device designed to provide hands-on, expressive control over your Eurorack modular system, MIDI-compatible gear, or software VSTs, serving as a solid, practical foundation for studio use or live performance.

The controller includes four heavily smoothed 100mm faders for precise parameter sweeps, alongside 7-segment LED displays and dual pushbuttons for visual feedback and navigation. Based on the open-source CCTV.FM design, the enclosure is constructed from durable 3D-printed PETG and features a bespoke faceplate finished with custom artwork. It allows for on-the-fly, PC-free reassignment of MIDI CCs and MIDI channels directly from the hardware, saving your settings automatically to internal memory. The case sits securely on rubber feet to prevent slipping during intense use.

Data and control voltages are routed through a versatile I/O panel on the rear capable of delivering four independent channels of 0-5V CV, making it deeply integrated with modular setups. The system requires standard 5V USB power via a USB-C port, which simultaneously handles USB MIDI. The rear panel also includes 1/8" TRS MIDI In and Out jacks to save front-panel space, complete with an internal toggle switch that lets you freely select between MIDI Type A and Type B standards to match the rest of your gear.
